Didn't really enjoy this man, just seemed to simple like it was made in half an hour, just a simple kick and snare pattern and 4 notes played throughout the tune. try mix things up a bit, add some high hats, SFX and be a bit more playful with the synths!

Bazz123 responds:

Men, it's my 3th songs.
It was made 1 year ago.

A great loop but I just know this could be so much more! let me know if you decide to make a full composition of this! I really love the piano chord progression at the end of the loop. The one thing I don't like is the impact sound at the start. I'd prefer a low end rumbling boom rather than a lo fi mid range hit. maybe layer it and keep the original low in the mix?

Troisnyx responds:

There already is a full version of it, called As Stars that Shine (FULL), but even that probably sounds incomplete. I had a breath voice that sounded like a riser, leading up to the hit, but maybe it's a bit too drastic, no?

awesome, I pass through there everyday haha

Troisnyx responds:

The shops bit, or the actual stationy bit?

great work here! mix is clear and the guitar sounds great.

Ylmir responds:

Thanks a lot ! :)

mmmmm nostalgic. Like the variety of instruments you have, great melodies going on and i iove the harmonies you make with the square wave synth. Really loving the drums, they sound really lo-fi but still remain crisp and sit well in the mix. Good job man!

MetalRenard responds:

The drums were hard to get right. They went through several iterations - I wanted them to sound clear and have depth but still have that "lo-fi" texture to them. Obviously they're fake, I just reduced the quality with a bit crusher but the rest had to be done with some pretty intricate mixing. My inspiration for the sound was the original Sonic The Hedgehog game's soundtrack. :)

Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to leave your thoughts!

Stunning work. respect!!

Mattashi responds:

Thank you ^ ^

Really beautiful, keep up the good work!

Well done getting on the front page man!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Hey, it's been a while since I heard from you :D
Thanks for checking out this track :3

Great tune dude, has a nice atmosphere to it and i really love the piano breakdown just before it drops. I'd give you more feedback but everyone elses reviews pretty much cover everything!

Chozz responds:

Cheers, will give your stuff a listen soon

I think the intro is great and well mixed however I find it looses it's energy when it drops. I think the reese bass needs more movement than just a flange effect, maybe being more playful with low and high pass filters?

I like the kick but I feel the snare lacks character and needs more work to cut through the mix, overall I think it's a pretty decent tune and the vocals add a cool eerie atmosphere. Always love the darker dnb.

Chozz responds:

Like I said in the long description. The project file got corrupted and I didn't back it up, so I'm working on remixing it sometime later this year :) Good Feedback on where I'm going to improve my song though. I hadn't even got to the layering part yet, call this a really raw version,

Remixes welcome too..

Great little improv, do you mind if I sample it?

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks, and no I don't mind; I'd be happy if you did! :D
