Great little improv, do you mind if I sample it?

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks, and no I don't mind; I'd be happy if you did! :D

Really great atmosphere here! realy reflects the art well, I love the chord progression and choice of synths/instrumentation. I felt more could've been added to it though, maybe some percussion or shakers when that lead synth comes in just to add a bit of rhythm. I think having some FX drones playing behind all the other instrumentation could help fill in the missing element of the track and give weight to the overall tone of the track. Overall it has a beuatiful chord progression with lots of varied instruments playing lovely melodies. The mix was well executed and you did the art justice.

Good work!

Chemiqals responds:

Thank you so much for the feedback =)

I'll experiment a bit with your suggestions and see if I come up with anything! Thank you for the kind words as well!

Really good work bro, nice sound design though i wasnt a fan of the wobbles at the start. You reflected the art very well.

Chemiqals responds:

Thank you! Glad you thought so! =D

Man those drums are sick!! They drive the track really well and sound very natural though I think maybe adjusting the velocity of those snare shuffles a tiny bit more would make things a bit better. The atmosphere you've created works is nice and dark and I like those "Trogladyte" sounding vocal samples. I like the way you layered your basses but I feel you may of boosted the sub a bit too much as it sounds a bit muddy. Overall it's a good track man, could definately see this dropping at fabric

I really enjoyed this man, the strings were nice and authentic and your rides sound really nice, I wish rather than using a half time dubstep beat you used a driving 2 step beat, throwing in a few amen breaks every now and then just to vary things up. Melodically and structurally it's very interesting and I like how you recorded the piano with an iPhone mic, it gives the piano a low quality warmth which compliments the rest of the mix.

Oh man even though this is not my kind of dubstep you can't deny how fucking well made this is. The whole 8bit section is just amazing, and the way it transitions into the drop you made. Everything is sounding good mix wise, your kick and snare is punchy and the basses are fat as fuck. its a really clever track good work!

Mann this is a proper floor stomper!!! Love those triplets on your bass LFO. Love all your drum fills and the way you switch from a swung beat to a more driven beat at 1:30. Everything in your mix is really clear and your sub is warm and heavy. Your hats and shakers at 2:00 are really clear and spacious. They almost sound like they're recorded samples. Love all the vocal samples you use, they really make an impact to the way you transition sections.

Really good work man!

I love how eerie the piano is! and the strings compliment it well. Good work!
