I love the style you based the track on, the eerie, classical style piano however I felt the dubstep could've been approached differently, I personally don't like all the high frequency synths used in the main chorus section, however the arp is very nice. I think this track would've benefited it more if you made it more minimalistic like the old dubstep vibes, rather than the punchy "in your face" style of dubstep you was going for. In relation to the intro I think It would've been nicer if you used more deep, sub heavy bass sounds that the wide, sustained bass synths. I also felt your drums lacked the weight which could've been fixed with tidier EQing and compression. overall its a nice track with an interesting atmosphere that could've been aproached differently

I have also considered changing the vibe of the chorus to something bassier. I appreciate the constructive criticism, and I will certainly take note on this for the benefit of my music. Thank you, neB!

This is good work! Intro feels like high contrast then goes into something deeper, like rameses B. Loving the keys and that sub is nice

Good job on this, those pads are really nice and those drums are punchy as fuck. I like the bassline though i wish it was a bit more present in the mix, I think the riser is a bit too loud too. I'm not really a fan of the section at 2:10 but overall it's a good track! well done.

Look out for more in the future.

really dig this one, good work! the build up melody is so groovy! though I think this would work better as a house track rather than going into dubstep.

good job on this!

Thank you, kind sir.

man the amount of thought in this is unreal. brilliant work and a beautiful atmosphere. Respect!

This is so nice, that reverb! the way it progresses. i love it!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you :'D

I'm glad you liked this odd little song. I'm even happier that you liked the reverb, since I wasn't sure whether I actually made a good job with it, since I added it more than half a year after originally creating this :)

A nice little loop. If you wanna get rid of that clicky sound you can use automation to quickly bring the volume down at the end of the loop

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Heyy!!!

I remember you :p You did a loop in the style of Crash Bandicoot music :D (among other things).

Thanks for the tip! I actually already tried that after exporting, without much success, but I'll try to do it using the automation on the original file next time!

Thanks for the review :D

although the track ended abruptly i thought it was a well structured piece of music, nice to hear lots of different instruments complementing each other though out the piece, your leads really stand out in the mic however your drums lack power and variety. try processing your kick more to make it stand out in the mix, I can feel it's sub but not much in the mid range. I felt mixwise it sounded a but harsh at some points. mostly at about 1:00 where those delayed plucks come in. they seemed a bit to loud and dissonant.

fucking brilliant mate well done on this. the intro is so nice and the synth work is really well thought. your leads are sounding nice and big it just feels like you kick and bass are conflicting a bit with eachother, perhaps high passing the subs out the kick might solve the problem or sidechain compression?
